My name is Matt Stott, I am a freshman at Utah State University and I pretty much love my life. things are going so great. I am in my second semester of college and I almost can't comprehend how much I've learned so far. I am absolutely amazed by the people I have met, in both the Academic, and personal scene. I honestly believe I have learned more about people, life, my education and especially about myself in the last four months than  in the first eighteen years of my life.
Currently I am working on getting my general requirements done for school, but I have a few ideas in mind of what I want to major in this coming year. I love music and singing, and would love to major in vocal performance. I am split, though, because I've been looking into journalism and communications so I can become a PR. The possibilities are endless.
I am turning nineteen years old in five days and I am super excited to be old enough to smoke cigarettes legally, even though I most likely won't. It's just nice to know that I could if I wanted to, It makes me feel very mature. I have blonde hair and blue eyes and everywhere I go on campus you will see me with my bright red backpack. I've had a red backpack since the sixth grade. I just couldn't see myself with any other  color tagging along on my shoulders. Red isn't my favorite color, it's just sort of my thing.
When i'm not at school or working at Aeropostale, I love to chill with Karlee Dickson (picture below is in her car), Nathan Jacobsen (in picture behind me) Tori Marie Baggett and Nate Southwick. I have some of the most awesome memories with these people. and when i'm not with them I love to sing and play the piano. i'm not the best at either of them but I love them nonetheless. I placed first in male vocal and second in piano in the Young Artist's Cup my senior year in high school. I love listening to music as well. Sara Barielles, Ben Folds and The Reel Big Fish are some of my favorite artists. I also love to roller blade around town with my friends like a dork. Last summer I bought my first road bike and still to this day am convinced that it was one of the best purchases I have ever made. I love my bike! I seriously cannot wait for this summer when I get to ride it all I want.

I am from Paradise, Utah and lived there for the last seven years of my life until I moved out. I have three older sisters and one younger brother. I love my family and my cats too.
I used to get most of my news from local T.V. stations. I don't have television anymore so now I get it online from websites like Yahoo news and ksl.com. I also like to read the campus newspaper The Statesman. When I am bored I can almost always be found on the internet reading interesting articles or searching for my new favorite YouTube video. I can spend hours at a time on youtube and never get bored. I also listen to music on spotify.
